Track & Field

Income depends on the event; sprints and marathon competitions pay the most. About 20% of the top 10 American T&F athletes make over $50K annually. Sponsoring a track and field athlete is not an act of charity; it's a business decision by a brand trying to sell a product. Less than $15K annually is what about 50% of T&F (Track and Field) athletes rank in the top 10 in the U.S. This is from all sources: sponsorships, grants, prize money, etc.). An endorsement contract grants the sponsor the right to use (i.e., license) the athlete's name, image, or likeness in connection with advertising the sponsor's products or services. Therefore, utilizing all marketing channels and a specialized agency is ideal for the TRACK & FIELD athlete. NILS and potential Olympic bids are the highest-paying opportunities. We are determined to ensure that our athletes get the best endorsement deals possible as early as possible in their careers.
